Sony Alpha 700

The Sony 700 (DSLR -A700 ) is a digital SLR camera from Sony and the second model in the series. It was produced from December 2007 to July 2009.

It connects to the Minolta Dynax - series and can be seen as a successor to the Dynax 7D. Compared to its predecessor, it offers mainly an improved autofocus system, lower noise at high sensitivity, higher resolution and a changed operating concept. Sony intends to use this camera to both semi-professional photographers from the digital SLR market, as well as transfer passengers from analog photography. The 700 has a CMOS image sensor in APS -C size ( 23.5 × 15.6 mm) with 12.2 megapixels. The grip sensor for the Eye-Start function is not installed in the version for the European market due to its nickel content.

The memory card slot on the handle can be pushed easily and takes next to a Compact Flash memory card and a Memory Stick on.
