Sony Dwi Kuncoro (born 7 July 1984 Surabaya ) is an Indonesian badminton player.
Career
Kuncoro played at the 2004 Olympics in men's singles and defeated in the first two rounds Roslin Hashim from Malaysia and Jim Ronny Andersen from Norway. In the quarterfinals, he beat Park Tae -sang of Korea 15:13, 15:4. Kuncoro came to the semifinals, where he lost to Shon Seung -mo of South Korea with 15:6, 9:15, 15:9. In the match for the bronze medal he beat Boonsak Ponsana from Thailand 15:11, 17:16. In the 2007 Individual World Cup, he was into the final, but was defeated there against Lin Dan of China.
