Sophie Moniotte

Sophie Moniotte ( born May 5, 1969 in Dijon, Bourgogne) is a former French figure skater who started in ice dancing.

Your Eistanzpartner was Pascal Lavanchy. At his side, she won the silver medal in 1997 and the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1995. The greatest success of Moniotte and Lavanchy, however, was the runner-up World Championship title in 1994 in Chiba, as they had to admit defeat to the Russians Oksana and Yevgeny Platov Grishchuk. At the World Cup the following year they won the bronze medal. Moniotte and Lavanchy participated in three Olympic Games. 1992 in Albertville they were ninth, 1994 in Lillehammer, they reached fifth place in 1998 in Nagano, it was enough even for eleventh place.
