Sorting office

A mail center (BZ ) is a service furnished by a postal distribution center for letters. It serves mainly to rationalization of letter delivery. In letter centers letters and postcards from the post course are mainly sorted. Parcels on the other hand are sorted in freight centers.

Three sub-steps are performed in the order:

  • Outgoing sorting
  • Input sorting
  • Sequence sorting
