Sotirios Versis
Sotirios Versis (Greek Σωτήριος Βερσής, * 1876, † 1919) was a Greek weightlifter and athlete.
When discus throw of the Olympic Games in Athens in 1896 he finished third behind the Americans Robert Garrett and his compatriot Panagiotis Paraskevopoulos. His best was 27.78 meters distance thrown.
In the Olympic weightlifting competitions Versis reached at beidarmigen competition in third place behind the Dane Viggo Jensen and the British Launceston Elliot has a fine weight of 90 kg.
