Soulsister
Soul Sister is a Belgian pop band around the two singers January Leyers and Paul Michiels.
Band History
The duo began together in the 1980s and published in 1986 with You Get to Me his first single. With The Way to Your Heart, they had their breakthrough in 1988 and also an immediate international hit that made it to the German-speaking countries in the Top 10, and 100 actually rose in the U.S. Billboard Hot at # 41. This was followed up in 1994 repeatedly minor hits, which were especially successful in Germany, including the song Broken (1993). They also had TV appearances in Germany at " Formula One " and " RTL Saturday Night ", where they presented their hit live and acapella. By 1995, originated a total of five albums with soulful and funky tracks. Other well-known title of the band are not That Simple, Through Before We Started and Sweet Dreamer. By 1999, they were successful in their home, then Michiels and Leyers dedicated own solo projects.
Soul Sister found themselves back together in 2007 and came into this year with the Nokia Night of the Proms on. With the song How Many Waterfalls they reported in 2008 back in the charts.
