South Korea women's national football team
The South Korean national soccer team of women representing South Korea in the international women's football. The national reports to the South Korean Football Association.
Within Asia, the South Koreans can not prevail against the strong teams from China, North Korea and Japan. The only World Cup finals reached the Ostasiatinnen at the 2003 World Cup in the USA, there, however, they lost all three group games and retired. Kim Jin Hee, scoring the only goal of South Korea.
In 2004, the U-19 junior Asian champion.
On 1 June 2012, reached number 15 is the best position in the FIFA World Ranking, with the South Koreans from slipping Islands benefited.
