South Twin Peak

The South Twin Peak is located on the northeastern edge of the Columbia Icefield -. The associated massif was first named in 1898 by J. Norman Collie and Hugh Stutfield as The Twins. The higher peak is at 3684 m and is now known as North Twin Peak. The South Twin Peak was first climbed in 1924 by FV Field, WO Field and L. Harris with the mountain guides Edward Feuz Jr. and J. Biner.
