South Vietnam national football team

The South Vietnamese national football team was the national football team of South Vietnam. It existed from 1949 to 1975 this year. They merged with the selection of North Vietnam to the Vietnamese national football team.

South Vietnam was able to qualify in 1956 and 1960, for the first two Asian Championships and finished there fourth place respectively. For a world championship, the team failed to qualify.
