Southedge Dam
The Lake Mitchell (also: South Edge dam or dam - Quaid ) is a reservoir in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland on the upper reaches of the Mitchell River.
The lake 26km north of Mareeba has a capacity of 129 million cubic meters and covers an area of 32.9 km ².
History
The reservoir remained unused since its completion in 1986. It was built by the South Edge Daintree Pastoral Company and heard today.
