Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik is the title of the debut album of Rapduos OutKast. He is described on " RapReviews.com " as follows:

The album was released in 1994 and is significantly different from the later works OutKast by a stronger influence of the then dominant Gangsta Rap, especially in the lyrics Big Bois and Drs musical focus, however, is already on live instrumentation.

Success

The album debuted at number 20 on the U.S. Billboard charts. They were also the first successful rapper from Atlanta, one of today's stronghold of hip hop.
