Sozopolis, Pisidia

Apollonia (Greek Ἀπολλωνία ) was an ancient town in the countryside Phrygia (sometimes also counted among Pisidia ) at today's Uluborlu in the Turkish province of Isparta. The town was temporarily also the name Mordiaion, in late antiquity Sozopolis.

In late antiquity was Sozopolis seat of a bishop; on the diocese is the titular Sozopolis back in Pisidia of the Roman Catholic Church. Are preserved inscriptions and coins of the city from the Roman imperial period.
