SPAR Premium League
The SPAR Premium League (SPL ) is the highest Swiss league in women's handball. The League was called to 2012 SWISS Premium League. The league was founded in 1970 and the LC Brühl is the most successful club with 29 titles. The association has also made it twice to get eleven tracks continuously. Second most successful club is the ATV Basel- City with four titles, followed by TSV St. Otmar and Spono Nottwil with three titles.
Eight teams compete against each other in the league. The winner gets a qualifying place for the EHF Champions League.
