Special Prosecution Book-Poland

The Special Investigation Poland book was written by the Office II of the Security Service of the Reichsführer- SS (SD) from May in 1939 with members of the German minority in Poland; it contained about 61,000 names. The persons mentioned in the book should be after the occupation of Poland either arrested or shot.

With the implementation of the so-called company Tannenberg to the destruction of the Polish Inteligencja those presented by Reinhard Heydrich, Einsatzgruppen of the Security Police and SD were commissioned. Heydrich extended the remit of the Einsatzgruppen to all persons who were hostile according to the Nazi ideology.
