The storage pool Lohsa II also Lohsaer lake ( Upper Sorbian Łazowski JĘZOR ) is a lake in the Lusatian Lake District in Upper Lusatia in Saxony. It is located on the territory of the eponymous municipality Lohsa between Hoyerswerda and white water.

The flooding of the open pit residual hole of the pit Lohsa by LMBV with Spree water began on 14 August 1997 and will be completed in 2013. He will then occupy an area of about 10 square kilometers and save 97 million cubic meters of water. He is one of the larger lakes in the Lusatian Lakeland.

In the neighborhood are the reservoirs Bärwalder Sea to the southeast, and the Silver Lake Dreiweiberner ( Lohsa I) in the south, as well as Scheibesee and Bernsteinsee in the east. For some of these lakes, the storage pool Lohsa II will assume the function of water balance through channels.

Furthermore, the storage water balance of the river Spree and thus for the nearby power plant Boxberg, the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve as well as the water balance of Berlin serves. In addition to the 61 million cubic meters of usable storage volume are still 25 million cubic meters of water from the upstream Bärwalder lake.
