Spike and Suzy
Spike and Suzy ( Suske en Wiske ) is the name of a Belgian comic series. The boy Spike (Flemish short form of Franciskus ) and the girl Suzy ( Louise ) are often adventure with fantastic elements. It is estimated the total circulation of 145 million copies, which can be explained by the popularity of the Dutch-speaking region, especially on the long running time - the first story appeared already 1945.
The original author was the Flame Willy Vandersteen from Kalmthout.
