Spitting Off Tall Buildings

History

Pallaske and Radermacher founded the band in 2002. 2003 were joined by Jürgens, Albrecht and Eberle, the "island" here knew each other from Treptower venue. 2004 EP were recorded and played their first concerts. At one of these concerts, they learned the music producer Moses Schneider know who had worked for Tocotronic and Beatsteaks. About him, the band came to Sanctuary Records and released there on 30 September 2005 her debut album, Spitting Off Tall Buildings. Production of using live music took over Moses Schneider, singing The Strokes producer Gordon Raphael. The album was mixed by Michael Ilbert from Sweden, who had already worked with The Hives, The Hellacopters and Fireside.

The band's name is the title of a novel by American author Dan Fante.

With the release of the second album Good Night And Good Luck on Exile On Mainstream on 11 May 2007 gave Spitting Off Tall Buildings announced that they split up in late 2007. The album was recorded in Chicago within a week at Electrical Audio Studio and produced by Steve Albini.
