Sporades
The Northern Sporades (Greek Sporades Vories Βόρειες Σποράδες (f. pl. ) ) Are an island group in the Aegean. These islands are also known as Magnesian Islands.
The northern of the islands form the Regional District Sporades, Skyros and its surrounding smaller islands to the Regional District of Euboea.
The four main islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros, along with other nine islands with an area over a km ² make up 97.52 % of the total island area. The rest is distributed to 122 smaller islands and rocks islands.
Although the Greek census of 2001 for the islands Adelfi, Kyra Panagia and Peristera indicating population figures, these islands are uninhabited. Total living on the Northern Sporades more than 16,000 inhabitants.
