Spreepiraten is a television series of the Second German Television ( ZDF), which was filmed from 1989 to 1990. It portrays the adventures of four siblings and her family in Berlin. The first 16 episodes were aired from December 1989 to April 1990 on ZDF, another 10 from January to April 1991 Written by: Hans Borgelt, Director: Hans -Henning Borgelt.

Content

The Spreepiraten are the 14 - year-old twins Marie and Louise, her brother Matze and her sister Trinchen. Together they experience many adventures in Berlin. When her mother, Karin Kukowski runs for four weeks to cure, they take with her father Klaus in front of the apartment to be renovated completely. Meanwhile, they prefer to grandparents Anna and Otto Zwicknagel who live very close to the houseboat Marianne II. The twins have the idea to celebrate a renovation party in the empty apartment, and so the work is finally done with the active support of the party guests. In Karin's return there next to the renovated apartment also a second surprise: The Dog Taxi is a new family member of the Kukowskis.

As Grandma Zwicknagel suddenly dies, Otto encapsulates increasingly dependent on its environment. Luckily appeared an old friend, Eddie the icebreaker, and brings with his good mood swing back in Otto's life. Klaus Kukowski learns in his work as a taxi driver Madame Patard and her granddaughter Joelle know from Strasbourg, the search in vain for a hotel in Berlin. Without further ado, he brings them under on the Marianne II. The twins make friends with the same age Joelle, and Otto with her grandmother. The fall of the Berlin Wall in November brings even more visitors and a big surprise: Experience the Spreepiraten that they still have an older half-sister in the GDR.

Otto Zwicknagel plans together with Eddi the icebreaker, the neighbor woman curlew and their feisty daughter Renate, who rebuild Marianne II to a hotel ship. Also for the Kukowskis there are changes: You need to search a new home because their apartment is to be converted into an expensive condominium. The new apartment is cheaper but also smaller and the ground floor. The key snag is that dogs are not allowed. As a taxi to the janitor saves her life, these changes luckily his opinion, and the Spreepiraten can keep their dog.

In summer, the Kukowskis want to finally take a vacation abroad. Through the mediation of Madame Patard they can share their apartment with a family from Strasbourg and also see as her friend Joelle again.
