Topographic map of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The Sredinny - ridge traverses the peninsula from north northeast to south-southwest

The Sredinny - ridge ( Срединный хребет, Sredinny Chrebet ) is an elongated mountain range on the Kamchatka Peninsula (eastern Russia, Asia ).

The lying in the region of Kamchatka, more than 1,000 km long and only sparsely populated high mountain range closes in to the south Korjakengebirge. It extends in a north-south direction over Kamchatka and projects on Itschinskaja Sopka up to 3,621 m high on. However, this mountain does not represent the highest point of the peninsula: in its eastern area - outside this mountain range - extends the volcano Klyuchevskaya Sopka 4,750 m high on.

The ridge also has numerous volcanoes, such as the mighty massif of Alnei - Tschaschakondscha, the Anaun or the stratovolcano Alngei.
