St. Anthony is a city in Fremont County in the U.S. state of Idaho in the United States. The population was 3,342 at the census in 2000.

Demography

According to the census of 2000, there were 3,342 people; were counted 1,091 households, and 819 families. The population density was 993 inhabitants per km ². There 1,218 residential units were recorded. The racial the population was composed of 89.1 % White, 0.2 % African American, 0.7 % Native American, 0.7 % Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander residents from the and 7.1 % from other ethnic groups; 2.2 % stated that the lineage of several ethnicities. 15.4 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

Of the 1,091 households out of which 40.1 % have children living with them. 59.9 % were married couples living together, 11.5 % had a female householder with no husband, and 24.9% were non-families. 22.1% of all households and 10.1% had someone living alone at the age of 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.94 and the average family size 3.47 persons.

The population was spread out with 33.2% under the age of 18, 10.1 % from 18 to 24, 26.8 % 25-44 years, 18.5% from 45 to 64 years and 11.4 % of 65 years or older. The average age (median) was 30 years. For every 100 females there were 107.6 males to 100 females age 18 and over, there were 109.8 males.

The median income for a household (median) was $ 31,023, and the median income for a family $ 37,995. Males have a median income of $ 26,625, women $ 22,734. The per capita income was $ 12,898.
