Fremont County is a county located in the state of Idaho in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) St. Anthony.

Geography

History

Fremont County was formed on March 4, 1893 from parts of Bingham County and Lemhi County. It was named after John C. Fremont, an American military officer and the first Republican candidate for the U.S. presidential office.
