Valley County (Idaho)

Valley County is a county located in the state of Idaho in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Cascade.

Geography

The County is located in the central northwestern Idaho and has an area of ​​9670 square kilometers, of which 145 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Idaho County, Adams County, Gem County, Boise County, Custer County and Lemhi County.

History

Valley County was formed on February 26, 1917 from parts of Boise County and Idaho County. It was named after President George Washington.
