Power County is a county located in the state of Idaho in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is American Falls.

Geography

The County is located in southeastern Idaho, is located in the south about 45 miles from Utah and has an area of ​​3736 square kilometers, of which 96 square kilometers are water surface. History

Power County was formed on January 30, 1913 from parts of Bingham County, Blaine County and the Oneida County. It was named after the Falls water power plant at American.
