Butte County (Idaho)

Butte County is a county located in the state of Idaho in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Arco.

Geography

The County is located just southeast of the geographical Tentrums of Idaho and has an area of ​​5785 square kilometers, of which two square miles are water. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Clark County, Jefferson County, Bingham County, Blaine County, Lemhi County and Custer County. History

Butte County was formed on February 6, 1917 from parts of Bingham County.
