St. Galler Tagblatt

The St. Galler Tageblatt is a Swiss regional newspaper. It is named after the southeastern Switzerland the second most read daily newspaper of eastern Switzerland ( WEMF - certified edition 2011: 118'420 copies) and is published by the St. Galler Tageblatt AG, the former Zollikofer AG. The St. Galler Tageblatt AG owns 70 % of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, 25% of Publicitas AG and 5% various other shareholders. Total conductor is Daniel Ehrat, chief editor is Philip Landmark and publishing director Urs Bucher.

The St. Galler Tageblatt displayed in the header sheet system with a total of 11 editors locations throughout eastern Switzerland. From 1989 to 1995, the St. Galler Tageblatt bearer of St. Gallen School of Journalism. The St. Galler Tageblatt, once the liberal newspaper of eastern Switzerland and now applies in the Swiss media landscape as a center-left oriented. Editor in Chief Philipp Landmark, however, it refers to itself as " bourgeois- liberal". Colloquially, the newspaper in eastern Switzerland is often referred to only as a daily paper.
