Stade Jean Laville

The Stade Jean Laville is a football stadium in Gueugnon, Saône -et -Loire, in Burgundy, France. It is used by FC Gueugnon and is named after the French politician Jean Laville (* 1880, † 1938) was named. Opened in 1919, it currently has 13,872 seats.

In 2003 began the renovation of the stadium in terms of the requirements for the second French league. The plan is a covered seat stadium with 17,500 seats. First, they built a new West Stand and then followed the North Stand. The roughly five -million-euro north stand is equipped with VIP boxes, changing rooms, facilities for the press and television, offices and restaurant.
