Stade Robert Diochon

The Stade Robert Diochon is a football stadium in Le Petit- Quevilly in Rouen, Seine- Maritime in the Haute -Normandie (France).

History

The stadium was opened in 1917 and is the sporting home of FC Rouen. 1953 named to the stadium to honor Robert Diochon. He was co-founder and Mannschaftskäpitän of the association. From 1906 to 1907, and from 1908 to 1953 he was 47 years the president of FC Rouen. Currently, the stadium has 12,018 seats. Most users ever online was April 10th, 1977 in play FC Rouen against AS Saint -Etienne (1-1) in the second round of the French Cup 1976/77 set up with 23,532 spectators. Due to new security regulations in the 2003/2004 season, the stands had to be demolished behind the gates and replaced by tubular steel stands.
