The Stadio Pino Zaccheria is the municipal football stadium in the Italian city of Foggia, Foggia in the Apulia region. It is the venue of the U.S. Foggia. It was named after Pino Zaccheria 1946; a basketball player who fell in battle during the Second World War on 4 April 1941. Before it was called the Stadio del Littorio.

History

In November 1924, the city decided to build a new stadium. On November 22, 1925, the new plant was inaugurated with the wooden grandstand Via Ascoli. On March 18, 1931 began the construction of a grandstand with 1,500 seats.
