The stadium Laughter is a football stadium with track and field facility in the city of Thun in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. It was from 1954 to 2011 the home stadium of football club FC Thun.

Location

Because of its location on Lake Thun in the south of the city of Thun and before the panorama of the Bernese Alps, it is one of the most beautifully situated stadiums in Europe.

History

The stadium has since its opening in 1954 a total of 9'375 spectators, of which about 7'681 standing. Besides football can be operated in the stadium also athletics.

FC Thun allowed his Champions League home games in the 2004/2005 season not unsubscribe in laughter stadium because the stadium is far from meeting the requirements of UEFA.
