The Dr. Constantin Rădulescu Stadium (Romanian: Stadionul Dr. Constantin Rădulescu ) is a football stadium in the Romanian city of Cluj and serves the local football club CFR Cluj as homestead.

It is named after Constantin ' Costel " Rădulescu was intermittently from 1923 to 1938 coach of the Romanian national team and she also during the Football World Cup 1930.

History

It was opened in 1973, had a capacity of 10,000 spectators and in 2008 was renovated in 1997 due to the Champions League qualification of Cluj, which today find 23,500 spectators.

The Romanian national team played its first match on 9 September 2008 in a qualifying match for the Football World Cup 2010 against Lithuania at the Dr. Constantin Rădulescu Stadium (0:3).
