Städtische Galerie im Park Viersen

Building

The building was built in 1869 as a representative manufacturer's villa in neo-Renaissance style in 1899, and came into the possession of the company Emperor's coffee shop, which had its headquarters in Viersen. In 1976 it was declared a historic monument, remodeled in 1980 and opened in 1981 as the Municipal Gallery in the park for exhibitions and cultural events. Collections
