Staffelberg (Lower Bavaria)

The Staffelberg behind Hauzenberg

The Lower Bavarian Staffelberg ( 793 m ) is a distinctive pyramid- shaped elevation in the southern Bavarian forest just above the town Hauzenberg, which belongs to the district of Passau.

In the thickly wooded summit Hauzenberger built a small observation tower that offers a good view of the city and on the Freudensee. Next to it is a summit cross and several catch benches. Lead to Staffelberg three marked trails, which are all created quite steep: from Freudensee of Germannsdorf and Hauzenberg.
