Stalingrad (Paris Métro)

Stalingrad is a station of the Paris Métro. It is located on the Place de la Bataille -de- Stalingrad, which was named after the Battle of Stalingrad, on the border of the 10th to the 19th arrondissement of Paris. At the station, trains to the metro lines 2, 5 and 7

The station was first opened on the Line 2 of the Paris Métro under the name " Rue d' Aubervilliers ". On November 5, 1910, a separate underground station of the line was very close to 7 opened with the name " Boulevard de la Villette ". These two stations were merged on October 6, 1942 and were named after " Aubervilliers - Boulevard de la Villette ". The corresponding station of Line 5 was born on October 12, 1942 to do so.

After the Second World War, the metro station and the associated space to commemorate the victory of the Red Army on the 6th German Army at the Battle of Stalingrad "Stalingrad" were renamed on 10 February 1946.
