Stan Borys
Stan Borys ( born September 3, 1941 as Stanisław Guzek in Rzeszów) is a Polish rock singer and songwriter.
Borys began his career as a member of the groups Blackout (1965 to 1967) and Bizony ( 1968-1970 ) before 1970, his first solo album Krzyczę przez sen published. In 1972 he took a leading role in Janusz Zaorskis film Uciec jak najbliżej and contributed to the soundtrack for. In 1973 he worked at the Polish rock musical with Naga. His second album Szukam przyjaciela (1974 ) contained two songs, with whom he won prizes at international festivals ( Jaskółka uwięziona in Sopot, Wierzę drzewom in Athens).
In 1975 he emigrated to the United States and continues to appear in festivals, musicals and solo concerts. His works from the 1960s and 1970s have since been compiled and re -released on several best-of albums.
