Stand-up roller coaster

Stand-Up Coaster (short: SUC ) is the English name for a roller coaster type, in which the passengers experience the ride standing.

As a backup system come shoulder strap and small saddle positioned between the legs of passengers and can be adjusted to the appropriate height before driving used.

Manufacturer of stand-up coaster, among others are Bolliger & Mabillard, Intamin AG and Togo. Since the closure of the railway in Skara Sommarland the only stand-up coaster is in Europe Shockwave at Drayton Manor Park. Another well-known example is Mantis at Cedar Point.
