Standard conditions for temperature and pressure

The term standard conditions used in scientific and technical fields and has two basic meanings:

• In physics, chemistry, medicine, biology and process to be followed for the definition of process conditions (especially temperature and pressure) in order to compare the behavior or outcome of a process with another can (see below).
• In the gas volume measurement for defining gas volume and gas flow rates ( see below).
