Stanislav Poplavsky

Stanisław Popławski (Russian Станислав Гилярович Поплавский, Stanislaw Giljarowitsch Poplawski; * 9 Apriljul / April 22 1902greg in Wenditschany, Podolia Governorate, Russian Empire, .. † August 9, 1973 in Moscow) was a Soviet and Polish military commander, Army General the Soviet Army and the Polish Army, commander of the land forces (1947-1950), Vice - Minister of Defense of Poland (1949-1956), member of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers Party (1949-1956), member of the Sejm, hero of the Soviet Union ( 1945).
