Stanisław Ossowski

Stanisław Ossowski ( May 22nd, 1897 in Lipno, † November 7, 1963 in Warsaw) was a Polish sociologist, professor at the University of Łódź ( 1945-1947 ) and Warsaw ( 1947-1963 ). He is assigned to the Lvov -Warsaw School. Ossowski studied logic, aesthetics and sociology, was married to the sociologist Maria Ossowska, with whom he also collaborated closely scientifically.
