Stanisław Rydzoń

Stanisław Rydzoń ( born March 8, 1950 in Brzezinka ) is a Polish politician, legal advisor and since 2001 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature.

Life

Stanisław Rydzoń finished in 1972 his law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He worked from 1979 to 1989 as head of the Craftsmen's Guild in Oświęcim. He then practiced as a legal advisor. From 1984 to 1988 he was a deputy of the National Council in the Province of Bielsko- Biała and 1994-1998 Chairman of the City Council of Oświęcim, then to 2001 County Council in the powiat Oświęcimski.

From 1972 he was a member of Zjednoczone Stronnictwo Ludowe (United People's Party - ZSL ), after which he belonged until 1997, the Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe ( Polish People's Party - PSL ) on. Later he joined the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Democratic Left Alliance - SLD) at, for which he sits in state and regional bodies.

In the parliamentary elections to the Sejm in 2001 and 2005, he was elected for the first time on the list of the SLD for the constituency Chrzanów for Members of the Sejm. From 2004 to 2005 he was a member of the Committee of Inquiry to investigate the Rywin affair. In the 2007 parliamentary elections he won with 11,110 votes on the list of Lewica i Demokraci ( Left and Democrats - LiD ) again a deputy's mandate. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for justice and legislation.

Since 22 April 2008 he is a member of the newly formed group Lewica.
