The band plays twelve Concerts, the first on December 6, 1980, the duration of the concert was on average between eleven and 14 minutes, depending on how often the now famous " Are your ready? " Was created by the band.

The last concert the band played in Philadelphia as an opener for Black Flag, in which Henry then singer was.

In 1981 Simon Jacobsen leaves the band and is replaced by Ivor Hanson on drums. With this line-up also recorded songs that will bring out Dischord Records as an EP. However, the label is missing at this time the money for the pressing, as well as a plate of Minor Threat should be published. On the side of the label Dischord Records is written on the impact of the band following:

"SOA Brought a new level of aggression to the music, and it reflected well the mood of many of the young kids in the DC punk scene. "
