State President of South Africa

South Africa was on May 31, 1910 to May 31, 1961 independent Dominion in personal union with Great Britain. As a result of the referendum of 1960 South Africa has been a republic since May 31, 1961, is a President (State President), later represented the President. Through the South African Constitution of 1983, the President received from 1984 special powers.
