Steal This Film

Steal This film is a series of films documenting the movement against intellectual property. The first part looks at the people in the Swedish piracy scene: The Pirate Bay, Piratbyrån and the Pirate Party. Partially spoken Swedish in the film, but always with English subtitles.

In the film, several interviews will be conducted. Among others, with Swedish adolescents who express their opinion to the seizure, and with members of Piratbyrån and the Pirate Party. In particular, the implications of the illegal seizure of the servers of the Pirate Bay in Sweden are mentioned by the Swedish police. This action was done by pressure from the American government, under the threat of economic sanctions by the World Trade Organization.

Production

• Steal This film was conceived by the League of Noble Peers, filmed and produced.
• On 24 August 2006, the film was under the motto "The only pirate movie you need to see this summer" ( "The only pirate movie you see this summer have ," a reference to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 2) as BitTorrent download The Pirate Bay published.
• On 29 December 2007, the second part was published.
