Steen Skovgaard
Steen Skovgaard (* 1950 ) is a former Danish badminton player. He is the husband of Anne Skovgaard and father of Christian Skovgaard (both also successful badminton player ) and the Women's Handball Michelle Skovgaard.
Career
Steen Skovgaard was one of the greatest badminton player of the 1970s. He won two silver and two bronze medals at the European Championships in the individual disciplines. With the team he won two gold medals. As the biggest success he recorded winning the Mixed title in the first badminton world championship 1977. 1980 he took another bronze.
