Stefan Winter

Stefan Winter ( b. 1968 ) was team manager of the German national ski mountaineering and is the author of numerous books in the field of mountaineering.

Winter is a qualified teacher of Sport and German and adopted at a young age to ski touring, compete, including 2005 team with Günther Maier at the Pierra Menta at the 2001 Trofeo Mezzalama, Trophee du Muveran many others.

As a certified sports philologist and mountain and ski guides he has worked since 1996 for the German Alpine Association (DAV). There, he was initially responsible for the area as a school sport climbing in the Unit " mountain climbing, training and safety " and led the DAV Young Learners Program, the world's largest climbing school for children and young people. In 2002, he took over the coordination of the sport of ski mountaineering mountain peak under Dr. Wolfgang Wabel ( Head of " Sport Climbing - Ski Touring - performance mountaineering " ) DAV and led the creation and support of the national team in this sport. He was a member of the Federal Training Team mountaineering and extended federal teaching teams climbing the DAV. The DAV- Oberland section he was an honorary capacity as a school sport and sport climbing speaker. In the climbing world championship 2005 in Munich winter was responsible for the sporting sequence. He is currently working as head width mountain sports, sports development and security research at the DAV.

After winter is Hermann Kofler coach and coordinator of the national team.
