Stefano Morrone

Stefano Morrone ( born October 26, 1978 in Cosenza) is an Italian football player. The midfielder is since 2007 under contract at FC Parma.

Association

Stefano Morrone began his career in his hometown at AS Cosenza Calcio, after two seasons, he moved to FC Empoli in the A. series after only one season, he moved to league rivals Piacenza Calcio after the club was temporarily relegated to Serie B, changed Morrone again, this time to AC Venice. In Venice he succeeded in his first season of promotion to the top Italian league. During the winter break of the season 2001/ 02 he returned to his hometown club AS Cosenza, where he only remained until the end of the season before he moved on to Palermo. For 2003/ 04 Morrone joined Chievo Verona, at the end of the season he moved back to Palermo, which had meanwhile also been promoted to the Serie A.

For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to his current club AS Livorno where he has one of the service providers and that season after Cristiano Lucarelli could achieve most goals for Livorno.

Morrone was also in the 2006/07 season one of the performers at Livorno, which made it interesting for the other clubs. In the end it was the Parma, which could oblige him. Morrone signed a four -year contract.

In the summer of 2013 Morrone was awarded to the Series B Movers U.S. Latina.

National

Marrone graduated from 1999 to 2000 a total of nine caps for the Italian U-21 national team. In August 2006, Morrone was appointed for the match against Croatia on 18 August 2006 for the first time in the Italian selection, but not used.
