Stefen Fangmeier

Stefen Markus Fang Meier ( born December 9, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, United States) is an American film director and visual effects artist.

Fang Meier's parents are from Germany. He grew up in Delmenhorst, where his father was stationed as a soldier of the German Luftwaffe. After studying in Los Angeles, he has worked primarily in the field of visual effects. Among his works

In addition to many international prizes catch Meier was at the Oscars 1997 ( "Twister" ), 2001 ( "The Tempest" ) and 2004 ( " Master and Commander " ) has been nominated three times for an Oscar, but always went home empty-handed.

Director

After he had worked as 2nd Unit Director on "Galaxy Quest " and " Dreamcatcher", was made in 2006 his film debut in the fantasy film " Eragon - The legacy of the Dragon Riders ."
