Steffen Lehmann

Steffen Lehmann ( * 1963 in Stuttgart ) is a German architect and university professor, projecting since 2010 the Research Centre Research Centre for Sustainable Design and Behaviour ( sd b) at the University of South Australia.

Life

1990 Lehmann received a degree AA Diploma from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. This was followed by employees with James Stirling in London and Arata Isozaki in Tokyo. From 1993 he worked as a freelance architect ( BDA) in Berlin worked and founded the S_LAB Space Laboratory for Architectural Research and Design (Berlin- Sydney ). In 2002 he graduated as Dr.-Ing. at the TU Berlin. In December 2002, the appeal was made to the Professor of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Newcastle ( Australia). Since 2006 he has been editor of the Journal of Green Building, which appears in the United States. In August 2008, he received an additional appointment as a UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Urban Development for Asia and the Pacific ( UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Urban Development in the Asia -Pacific region ).

Since 2010 Lehmann is Director of the Research Centre Research Centre for Sustainable Design and Behaviour ( sd b) at the University of South Australia.
