Steffen Wohlfarth

Steffen Wohlfarth ( born 14 September 1983 in Friedrichshafen, Germany ) is a German footballer who acts as a striker.

Career

Steffen Wohlfarths footballing career began at SC Schnetzenhausen, a small ski and football club from the district of Friedrichshafen Schnetzenhausen.

Until 2000, Wohlfarth played at the larger sports club of his hometown, VfB Friedrichshafen, known by the Volleyball Bundesliga team. This year, the site switched to the U-19 division of SC Freiburg, where he remained until 2002. Then Wohlfarth played three years until 2005 in the amateur team of Breisgauer before he finally came to the professionals. Lack assertiveness, he joined the 2006/07 season to the third division FC Ingolstadt 04, who finished the season in fifth and only narrowly missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the following season 2007/ 08 Wohlfarth contributed 11 goals in 33 league games to climb in 2nd Bundesliga in and gave the 3-2 win in the home match against SpVgg Greuther Fürth in this his debut on August 17, 2008 ( 1st Round ). After the commitment of coach Benno Möhlmann Wohlfarth was only second choice in the storm, so that the termination of the contract with FC Ingolstadt was announced in December 2010.

On 7 January 2011 the obligation was known (until 30 June 2012) by Wohlfarth for the third division football team on the homepage of FC Bayern Munich.
