The Steinbeis University Berlin ( SHB) (English Steinbeis University) is a private, established in 1998, officially recognized university with doctoral degrees in Berlin.

The SHB provides primarily part-time degree programs and courses in Berlin and nationwide about their transfer institutions to. In addition to bachelor's degree programs, there are master's degree programs and the possibility of promotion.

It is named after the economic politician Ferdinand von Steinbeis ( 1807-1893 ).
